Merry Christmas
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did. Unfortunately, people always make the comment that they are glad it is over. Well, I'm not. As I take a break from taking down decorations, I can't help but feel sad. I love Christmas and only wish we could be in the spirit all year long!
I had a lot more pictures to post, but for some reason things stopped working. So, here is a start.
We went to momma and daddy's Christmas Eve. Daddy read the story of Jesus' birth and we played Dirty Santa and ate, ate, ate.

Christmas morning. Sydney was so excited! She was still half asleep when she was looking at all her goodies.
John Evan was still asleep when Sydney got up. So, when he finally woke Sydney showed him how all his toys worked.

I'll post more pictures when I can get the blog to work!

Gymnastics recital

Sydney had her Christmas gymnastics recital on the 15th. They just did some floor routines to some Christmas music. They used ribbons, jingle bells, scarfs, and candy canes. Sydney did so good and looked so cute in her green leotard with her Dora panties hanging out. I am so proud of her for "performing" in front of all those people! Thanks to all the family for coming to support her!

Riding in Style
Sydney and I rode in a limosine last Thursday. Her friend, Stephanie, celebrated her 7th birthday. We picked her up from school, played at Chuck E. Cheese and ate dinner at Logans. The girls had a blast!

Chunky Monkey
John Evan had his 6 month check up today. He had 4 shots and did really good. He cried when he got stuck, but calmed down pretty quickly. Unfortunately, he was real fussy the rest of the day. He weighs 20lbs 4oz and is 27in. long. He is in the 75th percentile for height and 90th for weight. What a big boy! Dr. Petitt asked if we had any nicknames for John Evan...I like to call him Chunky Monkey-he suggested Buddah!

Christmas is here
Meghan and I took the kids to the mall and decided to stop and see Santa. I could not believe that Sydney sat in his lap. She would not talk to him, but atleast she didn't cry. Ofcourse, when we were on our way out if the mall, Sydney wanted to go back and talk to him. The picture I bought actually has John Evan smiling.
Every Tuesday morning we go to the library for story time. Sydney loves it and feels like such a big girl cause she goes in by herself. This week they did a Christmas craft. Here she is coloring her snowman.
Here are the baby brothers hanging out.
Sydney always has to go throw money in the fountain before we leave.
