I love Papa Sid and Grandmother Ruby as my own grandparents. They have always welcomed me into their family with open arms. I am proud to have a daughter named after Papa. Sydney is handling things pretty well. She said she was okay because she would just remember Grandmother how she used to be instead of how she was when she was sick. How sweet.
Please keep Papa Sid in your prayers while he deals with his loss. Pray that his mind will stay clear so he can remember the sweet memories that they have had over these past long years!

I can't believe how smart Syndey is to know she will have happier memories if she remembers her before she was sick. It amazes me how grown up she sounds sometimes. Sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry to hear about that. I lost my grandparents last fall and was able to see the same kind of love story. Kids understand a lot more than we think they do, don't they? Sydney is such a sweetheart.
What a sweet post.

I am so sorry for yalls loss. That is such a touching story. Kind of reminds me of The Notebook. Our prayers are with your family.
I'm glad that Sydney is so grown up and understands so much. She is so sweet. I am so sorry that you guys keep going through this over and over. You are a great mom and wife and keep your family together so well especially at times like these.
Sorry to hear about your grandma-in-law. Sydney never ceases to amaze me. She is incredibly inciteful and intelligent, for sure.
