Daddy's hunting buddy

If Chris has anything to do with it- John Evan will one day be his hunting buddy. So, we had to make sure he looked good in Camo. No,really-the Wyatt's got this cute outfit for him. My friend, Edie, made him this cute blanket. Heidi-I thought you and Thomas would enjoy a game of trying to find John Evan in the 2nd picture. HAHA!

John Evan's Blessing

John Evan was blessed at church on Sunday. Chris did a really good job with his blessing. John Evan looked real cute in his little white outfit. Most of my family was able to be there and that meant so much to us. We all got together for lunch after church at Valoree's. It was a great Father's Day.

First Dr. appointment

We went to the dr. yesterday. John Evan did pretty good. Ofcourse he screamed his head off and turned bright red when the nurse pricked his heel. Sydney was a little concerned about her baby brother being so upset.

He now weighs 8lbs. and 6 oz. and is 21 1/2 in. long. He is in the 50th percentile for his weight and 90th for his length. He may be a tall boy!

Rainbrella

Sydney loves to play in the rain with her "Rainbrella". Aren't I just the best mother to let her play in the rain with her panties on! You know it's one of those situations where you pick and choose your battles. With the new baby she is winning more and more these days!

John Evan likes his passy, but sometimes gets aggrevated when he realizes that there is nothing coming out!

Last night was my first night by myself with John Evan. Sydney spent the night with Gran Gran and Chris was at work. Everything went great. Wish me luck again tonight! Sydney is in the bed, so one down and one to go.

Chris and Sydney washing my new car. I got it for my birthday and I love it! I have not been able to enjoy it much, but I know I will. Sydney had a blast. She kept rubbing suds in Daddy's hair!

Family of Four

Chris and I were talking and I said something baout the three of us-and then had to stop and think "Oh yeah, there are four of us now!" How crazy. Here is our happy family.
Sydney is so proud to be a big sister. She is doing great. She walked right into the hospital room with her hands stuck out and asked to hold him! She has shown no signs of jealousy, but we will see how things go when Daddy goes back to work!
Going home was an ordeal, but we made it. John Evan slept the whole way home!
Do you see any resemblance? I don't.
It is so amazing to experience child birth! I love him so much.



Things are going good. Momma has been so much help. I know she is tired of doing dishes and laundry, but it is amazing how many clothes John Evan goes through!

I know we confused a lot of people with his name-but we will just have to add John to his nursery wall!!!!!
He is such a John Evan.

John Evan is here

We are pleased to announce the arrival of John Evan Sprayberry. He was born on Sunday, May 28th @ 9:05pm. We weighs 8lbs 3 oz and 20 in long. His delivery happened so fast, but everything went great. Sydney is SO excited! Thank you so much to Valoree for keeping her while we were in the hospital. We are happy to be home and just trying to adjust to being a family of four. As soon as I get a second I will post some pictures. John Evan is waking up!!!!!!!!!
