Why do mormons like to go on Dr. Phil and look like idiots? Okay-does anybody remember the couple that was on it from Tuscaloosa talking about their "sex menu"? It was pretty awful. Well, yesterday there was a mormon family on there about family "drama queens". It was so stupid! They were blaming all their family problems on one of the daughters and they kept referring to the son's mission. At the end Dr. Phil mentioned that they were mormon and that the "drama queen" did not agree with the mormon faith. You can go to www.drphil.com and click on Monday for the whole story. Let me know what you think!

I don't really watch Dr. Phil anymore. It isn't that I don't think he knows what he's talking about it's just the people who go on the show are on crack mormon or not. Why shout your problems on the rooftops. If you're going to go on a show like that don't mention you're a mormon. Just like stupid oh Julie from the real world or as I like to say 'the cry baby'.

i didn't watch the show, but i went to the website and read the transcript. the biggest problem is that the family is not going to their bishop for help. dr. phil doesn't actually help anyone by pointing out their problems in a 1 hour episode. that family needs long term counseling. they are all the problem if they agreed to be on a show.

haven't seen the shows but I agree w/ all comments so far especially the one about the media coverage (is that your baby sister Ashley speaking?) I'm always on the rebound/defense since i'm Catholic when the media covers only the crazy priests. But it gives me some comfort when i realize that everyone i surround myself with is educated enough to know there's always a few 'crack heads' amongst any group, no matter how you classify or break it down, religious denomination or any other category. it just sucks when people make judgements based on things like this!

Ok...I just read the transcript. That is messed up. I agree totally with Heidi.

One of the problems is that all the people who go on shows like this just want to draw attention to themselves instead of actually addressing the real issues. And they just make the rest of us sane mormons looks like we are nuts!
