A- day game

Just wanted to share some pictures of us at the A-Day game. We had a lot of fun! The crowd was amazing! There were over 92,000 fans there-they actually had to close the gates because the stadium was full.

We ran into Sydney's little friends Kate and Emma
We enjoyed spending some "daughter" time with Sydney. Thanks Valoree for keeping John Evan.
ROLL TIDE!

Why do mormons like to go on Dr. Phil and look like idiots? Okay-does anybody remember the couple that was on it from Tuscaloosa talking about their "sex menu"? It was pretty awful. Well, yesterday there was a mormon family on there about family "drama queens". It was so stupid! They were blaming all their family problems on one of the daughters and they kept referring to the son's mission. At the end Dr. Phil mentioned that they were mormon and that the "drama queen" did not agree with the mormon faith. You can go to www.drphil.com and click on Monday for the whole story. Let me know what you think!

HAPPY EASTER

Well, we had a crazy Easter weekend because it was the weekend we moved into our new house. I promise to post pictures as soon as we get it ready! My family at Easter
All the grandkids-they don't look very happy!
Sydney hunting for eggs
showing off the goods!
OKay, so this is not an Easter picture-but isn't he precious? Check out the great bruise! He is beginning to walk and is always falling!
I was able to snap this picture before John Evan starting screaming. Sydney did great but did not understand why he didn't talk back to her.
Riding the train at the mall
Dying Easter eggs-thanks so much Valoree!
Sydney with her Easter basket and
John Evan with his.
We spent the day at church and at my mom's. It was a great day and the kids looked so precious!

My first race

Chris and I ran our first 5K race on Saturday and had a blast. It was the GVI Spring Fling and Barbecue Thing. My goal was to run the whole time and I did! So, okay my time was 33:44, but I finished. It was really hard! About 3/4 through the race I saw Chris' cousin and her 2 year old daughter and then a sign that said "Sydney's Place" so those two things definately helped me get through it. Did I mention I had Chris as my chearleader? He was great. Him and his brother, Chad, decided to run kinda as a competition. Well, Chris ended up staying back with me and I'm so glad he did!

Here's me and Meghan before the race. She is definately my inspiration. She talked me into doing it. She also helped me train. She pushed me when I was ready to quit. Thanks girl for everything! You are great!
Meghan, me, and JesseAnn -she kicked our tails at 24:38! Yes-my face it still bright red!
Chad, Ben, and the kids (Ben was there for moral support)
They had a really good band and Sydney and Anna had a blast dancing!
Also, Collin and Joshua had fun playing in the rocks!

Me attempting to get the kids to cooperate.

Thanks to Beverly for watching the kids while we ran. It was great to have them at the finish line!

I look forward to the next race!
