Beach part 1

My wonderful parents gave us a beach trip for Christmas. At the time, June seemed SO far away. But it finally got here! We went to Panama City, Fl where we all stayed in a big beach house together. It was just WONDERFUL! The kids really enjoyed getting to spend time with their cousins and grandparents. The trip down on Saturday went pretty good. We just took our time and stopped at the Bass Pro Shop outlet and the Sikes and Kohn outlet. So, we were the last ones to arrive and everybody was already in the pool. Everybody stayed the first part of the week except Valoree and her family. They came on Wednesday. The beachhouse was perfect because we all had our own space. It was seperated into two buildings, but all together there were 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 4 kitchens. We had our own pool but were across the street from the ocean. There was some kind of Christian retreat all around us, so we didn't have any problems with noise or anything. Here are some pictures of the first night. We walked down to the ocean and the kids had a blast. John Evan was COVERED in sand!
Gran Gran and Pappy
look at the bootie full of sand!

Sydney and Shelby
Mary and Colt (close to 4 months old)
Drew (will be 3 in July)

I though this picture was cool. I think my camera was just doing wierd things but it turned out neat.

Looks like ya'll had so much fun. It must be so cool to have such a big, close family like yours. By the way, I LOVE that picture of Sydney on your sidebar. Did you take that? It looks like a professional photo! She's so pretty.

Um, what about the kids loved spending time with their aunts and uncles? Huh, huh? Just kidding. Even if they didn't have fun with me, I had fun with them!

That sounds like the kind of place we need to stay when we go with Aubrey's family. Sometimes we are soo cramped! That's so funny about the Christian retreat. At our Bishop's retreat, we were surrounded by heavy drinkers.
