Easter #2

The kids helped me make a casserole to take to momma and daddy's house. This is kinda a fuzzy picture, but I think it is the only one I got of them together in their Easter outfits!

We went to momma and daddy's for an egg hunt and dinner. As always, it was great to have everybody together! I am so blessed to have my family all live pretty close together!

Chandler, John Evan, and Colt....John Evan LOVES to hold babies. Chandler is an amazing cousin!

Easter #1

We had a wonderful Easter! It was so great to talk to the kids about the true meaning of Easter. What a great example Jesus Christ is! What an amazing thing he did for us! I am so thankful for his sacrifice!
One weekend I took Hudson and Sydney to the gymnastice meet and he spent the night. The next day we had a blast coloring Easter eggs. We started out with a lot more then we ended up with. Sydney let one roll off the table, John Evan threw one, and Hudson mashed on one too hard trying to put on a sticker!

The finished project.....
Hudson's favorite hat.....I never could get a good picture of his face!

I took the kids to the mall to see the Easter bunny. Ofcourse John Evan clung to me for life so I didn't get a picture! Sydney rode the train.

JE watching Syd on the train. He actually walked down to it and almost got on and then turned back around and changed his mind. I'm surprised cause he rode on it at Christmas. Oh well, you never know!
We always have to stop and ride some rides down by Sears.

We colored eggs 3 seperate times and had two different egg hunts so look for lots more pictures!

March for Babies

I just wanted to explain the side bar to the left!

Chris and I have been very blessed to have two perfectly healthy children. Unfortunately, all children are not born this way. That's why I have decided to join in with my MOMS Club and participate in the March for Babies walk on April 26th. Anyone that wants can participate in this event. You don't have to try to raise money to do it! Just come and walk and support! I am participating in March for Babies because I believe in the March of Dimes mission to save babies The money we raise helps save premature and sick babies. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies’ health today, and through March for Babies, the March of Dimes is funding important research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. Feel free to donate! I actually raised my goal from $100.00 to $150.00 because I have had such a great response! Beach post #2

LOOK AT BEACH POST #1 FIRST!
Here is a picture of the master bedroom.....

This was the room Sydney slept in. John Evan's room didn't have the furniture in yet, which was fine since he sleeps in his pack-n-play.
Look at that beautiful water.....
The kids wrestling.....

I didn't have a stool for them so they loved sitting up on the bathroom counter to brush their teeth!
This is the cutest picture ever! One afternoon we played hide-and-go-seek. Here the kids are counting while Chris and I hide. Check out John Evan hiding his eyes and leaning against the wall....
Me and my babies.....
The kitchen and dining room. I loved all the red and yellow....
The living room.....
Overall, we had a great, relaxing trip. We slept in EVERY morning and Sydney even made the comment, "Are we just going to sit around and watch TV all the time?" and our answer was "YES"!
Thanks aunt Lynn and uncle Tommy for a great trip!

Beach post #1

We took a trip down to Panama City, Florida from March 8th-March 12th. Chris's aunt and uncle bought a new 3 bedroom condo there and they drew our name out of a hat at Christmas for a free stay. The only catch was that we had to go before they started renting it out. So, we were the first people to stay in it and it was really nice! The kids did really good traveling there and back!
As you well know, Panama City is known for Club LaVella(sp?) and it is a big place for Spring breakers to go. They were definately there that week! We didn't really run into any problems, we are just so used to going to the beach and being around a lot of young families. So, it was different!
The weather was beautiful. Not warm enough to swim but perfect for doing other outdoor activities.
One day we went to play putt-putt. Chris won a free game for getting 3 holes-in-one. I got a couple myself and even Sydney got one! John Evan had a good time swinging his club around and throwing balls in the water!
Goofing around at the course.......

It was warm enough to go out onto the beach and we even dipped our toes in the water.

There was a really nice indoor pool and hot tub.
Golf pictures......
JE trying to do exactly what sister is going!
Daddy showing Sydney how to play.....
Little pro golfer going after his ball.......

The indoor pool was a little chilly.....
We went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. I personally thought it was a waste of money. Maybe because I hate the tv show so much! Some stuff was kinda neat, but Sydney was terrified of some of the exhibits.
Here is the tallest man.....

There is a new outdoor mall in PC. It was pretty chilly the afternoon we went.
We were on the 13th floor and Chris is terrified of heights. I could literally see his body tighten up when we walked from the elevator to the room. Needless to say he did not go out onto the balcony!

More beach pictures to come!
